An American equine friend introduced us to the wonderful LGD breed ‘Caucasian Ovcharka’ (shepherd). Prior to this we didn't even know such a breed existed. Never generalizing and/or selecting on a whim, we researched the breed which lead us to a renowned Romanian breeder, who is also a DVM and Caucasian Ovcharka judge.
